Bitterne Park ward has a population of approximately 13,500 and covers the areas of the Bitterne Park area, Bitterne Manor, Midanbury and part of Townhill Park.

Also boasting many open spaces and play areas such as Riverside Park, Bitterne Manor, Deep Dene, Ozier Road, Meggeson Avenue and Woodmill providing enjoyment to locals who can walk along the Cobden Bridge to Mansbridge.

Bitterne Park is built on the eastern bank of the Itchen River, and whilst mostly residential, consists of the Bitterne Triangle as a focal point for striving local businesses. Bitterne Triangle is home to many culturally diverse restaurants as well as local businesses and also centrepieces around the clock tower.
