Peartree is an area skirting the Eastern edge of the River Itchen and covers the suburbs of Merry Oak, Peartree Green and Itchen as well as the very northern tip of Woolston.

Populated with around 13,500, Peartree has large semi-detached properties, some terraced houses and also benefits many green and open spaces such as Peartree Green which is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). Peartree is also home to football pitches, a skate park and a basketball court all of which are located in the Freemantle Common and the Veracity Ground.
